The government doesn't want you to think about the fact that we are printing dollars at an astonishing pace.  The EuroUnion is not all that healthy, but their currency is trouncing ours.  Because we are in a strong global economy, we are not seeing inflation as a result of the dollar overload, but one day a economy in the global system will slide and inflation will balloon in this country.
