The Rich Jerk is about to be $8M richer
If you’ve been around the internet for the past few years you’ve almost certainly seen ads for “The Rich Jerk“. Ex-actor Kelly Felix is the man behind the ugly white suit known as the “Rich Jerk.” On his website, the jerk insults people, tells the world that he is better than them, and basically makes you mad by the time you finish reading. You then start to wonder if what he says is true. The Rich Jerk has spawned hundreds (if not) thousands of copycats since it was unveiled to the public in late 2005. The site has been given a ton of free publicity due to its’ offensive and controversial nature, and yes, if you are wondering I’m blogging about this site today for free as well.
So what gives? Why would I resort to blogging about the jerk of the internet? Well, the big news on the street is that TheRichJerk.com is for sale. Kelly has listed his jerk empire for sale on BizQuest.com for a whopping $8,000,000. Now that’s what I’m talking about! You can check out the sale here and if you have a spare $8M you can become the official rich jerk.
I’m not a big fan of eBooks and I can proudly say that I’ve never bought any but this is one that I’ve always wondered about. It is the most popular eBook online right now and has been in the top 10 best sellers on ClickBank for years. It only costs $10 and as the jerk says “If you can’t come up with a measly 10 bucks to change your life, you deserve your miserable existence, and you should leave this website NOW.” $10 doesn’t seem all that bad for something that has been so successful. Anyway that’s enough eBook plugging for one day. If you want to own one of the most successful eBooks in history then go to the bank and get a loan for $8,000,000.

His first offer for sale was $25 million! Then he dropped it to $8 million and then he put in on an ebay auction for $5 million…what does that tell you?
The Rich Jerk in it’s current state may be worth a cool mil…maybe. Nothing more.
Trust me guys…the so called “Rich Jerk Empire” has lost it’s luster. He barely writes in his blog anymore and that’s because he has nothing to say. After a while his ramblings about hot chicks, drugs and parties get real boring. You learn more from watching his marketing methods than from actually buying his content.
I bought a subscription to his new website and it sucks. He hasn’t made a solid update in 2 months. He just keeps talking about what he’s going to do, but does nothing. The majority of the people in his forum are asking for refunds and they are slow in coming. I didn’t ask for a refund because I wanted to give the guy a chance to redeem himself, but after I saw it wasn’t going to happen, I just canceled and told ‘em don’t bill me for another month.
He said in his ebay auction pitch that he believes The Rich Jerk could be a $100 million dollar company and that he already has a business plan in place that anyone can take over and follow through on that can achieve that. But if that’s the case, why sell?
All smoke and mirrors. BIGTIME!
